This week as seen a further WRU webinars relating to “BEST PRACTICE GUIDELINES”  in relation to the phased return to playing rugby. These Webinars focused on Facility Guidance and Resources (20/07/2020) and First Aid / PPE (22/07/2020).

Both were more relevant to specific groups within the Club Structure and less relevant to the overall Rugby Family within Penallta RFC.

There-fore dissemination of the content of each Webinar has been more targeted in the first instance. Club Officials have been advised in relation to around the Facilities and Resources aspect, and Club Physio’s and First Aiders were invited to and in fact took part in the Live Webinar on First Aid and PPE.

Steps are now being taken within the Club to ensure we are up to speed and compliant with such Guidelines, in order to allow us Penallta RFC to safely move through the WRU Phased return to Rugby.

That said anyone who would like to know more detail about this week’s Webinar’s can do so by accessing the presentations via the WRU Website. The Club will also provide links to the Information via its own Social media and Website facilities.

Plans are now well underway within the Club to commence Sanctioned Group Training session after August 1^st 2020.

IMPORTANT NOTES TO PLAYERS

• Register on August 1^st 2020.

• Any player not registered can not train until they have done so.

• All players must also complete the World Rugby Covid 19 training module.

• All players must complete the online Symptom checker via the WRU Game-locker prior to each session.

 ANY PLAYER NOT COMPLIANT WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TRAIN.

Personal Hygiene is paramount before, during, and after sessions.
