As Pre-season training is in full swing, it is only right end it with some seriously tough fixtures in readiness for the 2014/15 season.

It all starts on August the 9th where the coaches have laid on a Possibles v Probables fixture that will be played on the new 4G Pitch at Ystrad Mynach along with the youth fixture v Glamorgan Wanderers RFC. The blues have Newbridge RFC at home on Wednesday 13th of August,

The following week 16th of August, again on the 4G pitch, the 1st team play host to The Mules of Kenfig Hill RFC in conjunction with the youth golds where they host Beddau RFC. Meanwhile, on the same day, the troop visit Caldicot and youth blues travel to Rhydyfelin RFC.

The following Wednesday 20th of Aug, the 1st team travel to mount pleasant park to visit last season championship side Beddau RFC to what will be a very stern test for the boys.

The bank holiday weekend see's both youth and seniors enter the Aberaeron 7's tournament. Can we come away with another 7's trophy?

The youth blues have a derby friendly against the newly formed Bedliong RFC on Thursday 28th of August.

To top off a great pre-season, all sides are travelling down the M4 to Bridgend to face the Athletic. With a side that boost quality players and are consistently in the mid championship league,
