2019/20 Coaching Setup Announced!

Following this years presentation night where several of our senior coaching/backroom staff stepped down for a well deserved break - the club are pleased to announce the setup for the coming season. We say hello to some new faces and reacquaint ourselves with some Penallta stalwarts.

Joining Jack, Gregg and Kettley will be Paul Emanuelli who takes on the vacant role of 1st team backs coach, joining us following successive promotions with Division 1 East new boys Monmouth. Also, taking on the vacant team manger role is Jeff "K9" Davies who makes a welcome return to the back room staff.

It's as you were in terms of coaching with the Troop - with Pouchy, Dale Powell and Gareth Bisp at the helm. But we are pleased to confirm that the team manager role has been taken on by another returning Penallta warrior - Matthew Angel. He has big boots to fill but its great to see him back in the blue and gold.

Geraint Thomas stays on as Youth team head coach but will be joined by by a large chunk of last years u16's coaches - with Richard Scrivens taking the backs and Matthew Jackson and Owen Robbins also stepping up as assistant coaches. Bryan Harris completes the back room setup as team manager. Martyn Rowe retains his role as social co-ordinator / chief rabble rouser  Its great to see so many of last years u16's progressing on their coaching journeys with the boys into youth.
