Penallta Youth play Blackwood this evening at Trinity Fields; kick off at 7pm.

It'll be a great opportunity to support the boys in the sunshine as they start their pre-season games against local rivals Blackwood.

The Youth will be a young side this year with a big challenge ahead of them, performing in the 1st Division; formerly the Golds league. With 22 players from last season's youth squad graduating to senior rugby the younger boys are determined to prove their worth in the toughest of leagues. Tonight the squad features over a dozen boys aged just 16, all of whom are looking ahead to their first season of youth rugby; they truly are the future stars of the club.

The boys have trained really well all summer and are bouncing for the chance to play. There'll be plenty of rugby on display too, with four quarters of 20 minutes apiece. So all the players will get an oppportunity to show off their skills.
